Trebuie totusi o grija destul de mare, scarile fiind ude si alunecoase si in anumite locuri fiind nevoie sa calcam pe pietre in apa curgatoare…
ENGLISH:
Last time i spoke to you guys about Piatra Mare mountains, was in the winter between 2014-2015, when for safety and time reasons, i could not go through this canyon. Well the time for a cityscape has arrived and i chose to go there for this weekend.
Tamina Canyon is the smaller brother of the 7 Stairs Canyon, both in the same mountains with only a few miles between them. Thus i took my favorite train, regio 3001 till the stop call Timisu de Sus. Here a few signs led me on the right pat and after about 1 km along DN1 i reach the entrance of the trail. You can get to the canyon by following the road for about 1 hour or by taking the mountain trail, where it is more beautiful and more wild 🙂
I had the surprise (rather unpleasant) of meeting other people here at the canyon. Why unpleasant? The canyon is currently in an advanced state of decay (there is currently a plan of restoration of the place) and i do not recommend the crossing in bad footwear like the people i met here. Moving on, the view here is amazing ! and although the stairs are a bit broken, they can still be crossed easily enough. Take great care, the stairs are wet and slippery in places and sometimes you have to step around them on rocks in the rushing water… After passing through the canyon, you can rejoin the trekk up to Piatra Mare peek.
Although it is not as impressive as the 7 Stairs Canyon, this one is just as beautiful and majestic and deserves a visit anytime 🙂 I now leave you with a few photos to see what i am talking about 🙂
